No, we didn’t visit Astrid Lindgren’s World, the parc where you can see scenes of her stories played by characters like Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga, Ronja, the Robber’s daughter and many others. Instead we went to Näs, the farm where Astrid Ericsson was born and brought up with her siblings in a wonderful surrounding. The museum displays stations of her life – of an Astrid Lindgren who was not only writer of stories full of fantasy but also a woman of political engagement who cared for the world.
