Sweden tour/Rundreise

Since we passed through Eskilstuna we stopped for a walk through the center of the town, although Eva, my penpal was not at home.

Li had offered to show us a bit of Stockholm on this Sunday morning, so we met at 10 am on Hötorget (Haymarket).
First we bought our tickets for public transport – and we used them all today: bus, ferryboat, tram, metro, bus again… on a big round:
Bus nr. 2 along Kungsträdgården, past Kungliga slottet (the king’s castle), past Slussen (the locks). At Fotografiska (Katarinavägen) we have a perfect view down to the water and over to Djurgården, Skeppsholmen and Gamla Stan (the old city). The next bus (nr. 2) brings us down to the water. With the ferryboat we set over to Hammarby Sjöstad, a newer part of town. Planned originally for older people they wanted to leave the busy city but still live in Stockholm, instead settled by families with children… By tram, metro and bus we got back to Stadhuset and to Gamla Stan, the old city.
