After an early lunch we start our walk through town, along river Fyris to Pump House, through The City Garden to Uppsala Castle with its look out. We visit the Botanical Garden and notice that even pine trees can be trimmed into pyramids. Past Carolina Rediviva, the University library and the University Main Building we reach Uppsala Cathedral. A few steps down bring us back to river Fyris and Svartbäcksgatan, the pedestrian area with its shops. In front of the Linnaeus Garden we opt for coffee and blueberry cake before heading back to Carin Hotel for a rest before dinner.
